The fishers at the base of Waterfall City will tell you Itarou uses that monstrous Mega Sabre to scale the giant river carp in one clean stroke. The truth is far less heroic. The sword came with the shop Itarou inherited, and they are frankly terrified of it. Most days, it just leans in a corner, draped with their formal tie after a long day of haggling. Their recon headset crackles with market prices, not battle commands. Once, a customer knocked over a barrel of pickled fish, and Itarou’s face froze in the exact expression of shock they seem to wear permanently. They spent an hour cleaning up brine, never once glancing at the weapon that could have leveled the entire stall. The sabre is simply the shop’s most impractical and intimidating coat rack.
