Onions are diced with a series of frantic parries. Dough is tenderized with the pommel. Once, they tried to flambรฉ a dish and instinctually drew their blade to โfight the flames.โ The career change from adventurer to cook was abrupt, prompted by a single, distant glimpse of Inparusuโs tortured energy. Buzaemon saw that profound darkness and decided life was far too serious to not have good ramen. Master Chimpo has learned to just accept the occasional scorch mark on the kitchen ceiling; the food, against all odds, is usually worth it.
