The problem, as Karuta patiently explains to anyone who asks, is that its power source has decayed. It can no longer locate lost souls or hidden gateways. Instead, it vibrates with unerring accuracy in the direction of the best noodles in the district. The scar on their face? A spicy tonkotsu incident. The real mystery is whether the hat is truly a degraded relic or just an excellent excuse to wander.
