Chimper #1500
There’s an old saying at The Dojo: a cracked bell can’t call for prayer. Miwayo felt they were more than cracked; they were shattered by a reckless, head-first fighting style that left them buzzing after every bout. Then came their ascension, a surge of power that didn't mend the cracks but filled them with volatile light. They became stronger, but wilder. It was the sorcerer Ozawa who found them and asked, “What good is a beacon that only burns?” Since then, Miwayo has tried to be a guide, teaching recruits. They wear retro specs, a flimsy attempt to seem pensive. But when a young fighter asks them how to control their fear, Miwayo gives the textbook answer while privately wondering if the only thing they can truly teach is how to become a beautiful, glorious ruin.
