Chimper #1574
The city's strangest tourist is Kuruchi. They arrived in The Great Panda City a month ago, guided not by a map, but by the incessant, humming whispers of the amulet chained around their neck. The high altitude and freezing winds are a familiar comfort to their arctic fur, but the cityโs rigid etiquette is a nightmare. The amulet pulls their gaze toward odd patterns in the bamboo-lined streets and fixes a wide grin on their face when addressing the solemn Panda Council. The whispers promise a way to silence the chaos in their head: find and defeat the demon Shinpi. But the artifact offers no directions, only maddening impulses. Kuruchi once spent an entire day trying to trade a fistful of river stones for information, utterly convinced the stones were priceless. They are a puzzle the city cannot solveโa pure-hearted explorer trapped in a comedy of cursed errors.
