Hisame

Hisame was the last person anyone expected to find training in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria. Their mentors, wizards who measured power in precise incantations, saw the massive Mega Sabre on Hisame's back as a crude joke. For this reason, they were paired with Kyan, a sharp-witted geode-mage who considered anything bigger than a tuning fork to be barbaric. On their first field study to a vibrating monolith, Kyan was trapped by a surge of unstable rock magic, their shields shattering under the pressure. While Kyan frantically recited binding spells, Hisame simply drew their blade and cleaved the rogue crystal clean in two. Kyan has complained about the dust ever since, but they haven't left Hisame’s side. They find the problems; Hisame is the solution.
