Zenhachirou never actually won a single training duel. Ask the grizzled warriors of The Dragon Wastelands, and they’ll tell you Zenhachirou is a terrifying force of nature, pointing to the time they obliterated a ghost dragon with a simultaneous blast of fire and ice. Local merchants claim they saw Zenhachirou freeze a puddle with a single, furious glare. The truth is much simpler: they were trying to toast a swamp root with their fiery mohawk, sneezed, and tripped over their Frost Katana. The resulting elemental cataclysm was pure accident. But Kami, who happened to be watching, considered it a feat of such profound, unpredictable genius that they blessed Zenhachirou's aura. They remain a trainee, mostly focused on finding sweaters with bigger neck holes.
