Chimper #2009
The young scholars of The Great Panda City swear Mitoka doesn't use doors. One moment they are there, a weathered hand pointing to a flaw in a sword stance or a misinterpretation of an ancient text. The next, only the faint scent of bamboo and old paper remains. During one lesson on river navigation, a student looked down to re-tie their sandal. When they looked up, Mitoka was gone. But on their map, a new route was inked in, a shortcut through a treacherous pass, a path only someone who had walked it could know. The adventure sword hanging in their study is not for decoration; it is a reminder of the life that taught them how to be present without ever truly being seen.
