Chimper #2292
If one were to ask the locals of The Heart of the Forest about Sugayoshi, they’d describe a very serious chimp who takes mushroom foraging far too seriously. They once tracked colossal beasts through scorched valleys with Ryu-senshi, their Dragonslayer Blade a whisper of death. But their current assignment is quieter. Sugayoshi believes the annual berry pie contest is a front for a clandestine intelligence network. They analyze picnic clearings for ambush points and treat every folk song as a potential sonic weapon test. Their mutton chops twitch with suspicion at the offer of a second slice of cake, as if accepting would compromise operational integrity. The locals just think they are endearingly intense. Sugayoshi’s reports, however, are filled with detailed analyses of pastry flakiness, coded as matters of utmost security.
