One sword for the journey, one slice of cake for the destination, and one relentless opponent who never moves. Every week, Gotarou leaves the cheerful chaos of The Heart of the Forest and travels to the marshes to face their rival, Giri. It is a battle of wills, not weapons. Gotarou offers tales of festivals and fresh strawberry milk; Giri offers only immovable silence. This is the burden they share: Gotarou carries the forest's hope that the Swamp Sentinel might one day rejoin the world, while Giri carries the weight of their self-imposed exile.
