Chimper #2465
Should one ask about the quiet chimp in the light-infused helmet in The Great Panda City, the answers will differ. The bamboo weavers will say Chinpachirou is a failed inventor, forever tinkering with light contraptions and scarred by their own foolishness, carrying an ancient sabre they don't know how to use. The Panda Council, however, speaks in hushed tones of a mystic who channels the resurrected knowledge of Kodai through their machines, someone who can unmake a memory or build a bridge from pure sunlight. They see the scar not as a mistake, but as the price for such power. A few children, however, will offer the simplest truth: they saw Chinpachirou use that helmet to mend a bird's broken wing with a gentle beam of light.
