How does a messenger outrun a memory? Itsuka knows you don't—you just find someone to run alongside. They met their partner in the wilder edges of The Heart of the Forest, another soul with quiet hands and a heavy brow. They were just two chimps trying to earn a meal until the day their delivery path crossed with Uragirimono. The scars they now share are identical, a thin silver line on their left hands. Itsuka got theirs trying to talk their way out of it; their partner got theirs by ending the conversation. Since then, they have been inseparable.
