Chimper #2572
Riyuutarou’s ramen hat is carved from a single, flawless stalk of bamboo, lacquered to a high gloss that reflects the purple skies of The Great Panda City. They wear it with a playful tilt, a symbol of their beloved noodle stand. But the hands that now carve chopsticks with such delicate care once shaped bamboo for a very different purpose. Before the apron, they were a weapon-smith, their gaze intense and focused as they crafted quarterstaffs and sharpened spears for skirmishes along the mountain passes. They found more honor in a perfectly balanced spear than in any meal. That changed after they saw a sparring match turn bloody over a point of pride. They laid down their staff that day and picked up a ladle. The intense focus never left their eyes, but now it's aimed at slicing vegetables, not at finding an opponent's weakness.
