Jonosuke is the most dedicated angler in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria. They did not arrive this way. They journeyed to the fortress of dark stone as a warrior, seeking a grand purpose from Horoguramu’s famed water pools. After paying a fortune in rare gems, they gazed into the rippling surface and received a life-altering vision: a single, shimmering, crystal-finned trout swimming in a specific, sun-dappled creek. That was it. Jonosuke waited, but the vision did not change. The scar that marks their face is not from a blade, but from a territorial crab they fought for bait. The complex display on their head doesn't track enemy movements; it charts water temperatures. Others see a battle-scarred wanderer and whisper stories of forgotten wars, but Jonosuke just squints at the sky, wondering if the fish are biting.
