Kanaderu

Every morning, Kanaderu has to figure out where they are. The wizards who brought them back from the dead—inspired by tales of Genkei's return—were apparently new at it. Instead of being resurrected as a vengeful spirit, Kanaderu was just resurrected as… clumsy. Their soul seems to wander off while they sleep, taking their body with it. One day, they woke up nestled in the mouth of the giant fish statue in the main plaza of Waterfall City. Another time, they were found gently bobbing in a fishing boat far downstream. The locals are used to it, often shouting greetings like, “Found your glasses yet, Kanaderu?” as they search for their misplaced spectacles. They’re just a wanderer who wishes they could do a little less of it before breakfast.
