Chimper #2920
The scent of damp earth and crushed autumn leaves always reminds Kiyouko of their greatest discovery. It wasn't a forgotten ruin, but a particularly sturdy tree branch they met face-first while trying to map constellations during broad daylight. The locals in The Heart of the Forest call the resulting scar their โthinking mark.โ As the self-appointed cartographer of things no one else notices, Kiyoukoโs pink pack holds more snack wrappers than survival gear. Their maps don't show trails, but rather the best spots for napping and which squirrels are the grumpiest. The guiding lanterns are less for navigating and more for helping them find their own tent after dark. They've yet to discover a new land, but they've cataloged every good berry patch within stumbling distance.
