Chimper #2975
The other trainees at The Dojo will tell you Irumari’s campfire stories are the best you’ll ever hear, full of dragons and forgotten treasures. But they never tell the one that matters. They never speak of the mission with Uragirimono, or what really happened on that bridge overlooking the chasm. Some whisper Irumari was too trusting, an easy mark for The Betrayer’s schemes. Others claim Irumari holds the other half of a map that Uragirimono desperately needs, and the betrayal was a warning. Irumari just sharpens their blades and roasts another marshmallow, their rebel eyes reflecting the flames. The guiding lanterns on their back are never extinguished, a silent vigil for a debt that has yet to be paid.
