Okijirou

Okijirou was the only one who didn't flinch. When the self-proclaimed messiah, Kaunto-juba, arrived in The Great Panda City promising a golden age among the stars, the crowds either knelt or fled. To prove their power, Kaunto-juba unleashed a bolt of blinding energy meant to shatter a nearby peak. Without a word, Okijirou raised a hand, and a shield of flawless mountain rock rose from the cobblestones, absorbing the force completely. The stone chakra on their back glowed once, then dimmed. Kaunto-juba wasn’t furious; they were fascinated. Since then, they have been locked in a strange contest. One makes grand pronouncements of changing worlds, and the other responds with quiet, geological truths. Their rivalry is one of cosmic ambition versus terrestrial patience.
