Chimper #3305
Tsurue's carved cane serves two purposes: leaning on during steep climbs and poking Shimo whenever the ancient warrior mistakes a spinning monolith for a potential napping spot. When they agreed to guide the newly awakened legend through The Crystal Highlands of Armaria, Tsurue imagined grand adventures. The reality involves a lot more explaining. Shimo, having been frozen for millennia, possesses the worldly knowledge of a newborn vole. They try to bargain with sunsets, ask if magic tastes purple, and once attempted to "thaw out" a dark rock fortress with vigorous rubbing. Tsurue now spends less time charting geological wonders and more time explaining what a "joke" is. It is, by far, the most exhausting expedition of their long life.
