Chimper #331
Every evening, after training beneath the cherry blossoms of The Great Panda City, Mifune lays out two tools: their trusty katana and a simple stick, sharpened at one end and sticky with marshmallow at the other. The blade is for duty, a silent promise to protect the bamboo-lined streets from any threat. But the stick is for connection. Around a crackling fire, it becomes a conductor's baton for stories, drawing travelers and locals closer in the cold mountain air. Mifune believes in Kenji's vision of a united world, but feels true unity is not forged in grand portals alone. It is built in the small circles of warmth where tales are shared. The blade keeps them safe; the stick keeps them together.
