In the amber-leaved forest, the most serious crime one can commit is a bland meal. It is a doctrine that Yuwami, founder and sole employee of ‘Yuwami Forbidden Confections,’ has taken to a heretical extreme. Dressed in a bafflingly formal suit they salvaged from a washed-up crate, Yuwami sells goods that defy all local tradition: sugary crystals, imported fruit leathers, and their most popular blasphemy, the chocolate stick. The locals, obsessed with foraged authenticity, whisper that such creations must be dark magic. They point to the faintly glowing rock on Yuwami’s back as proof of unnatural methods. Yet, every evening, a line forms. Chimps publicly decry the ‘CEO of Sweet Sacrilege’ before quietly asking for two choc sticks to go.
