How does one guard a magically resonating crystal the size of a hut without accidentally shattering it? This is the question that haunts Kagana’s every waking moment. Posted in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria, they were chosen for their impressive Shielding Wings, which can deflect any known spell. Unfortunately, they are also wide enough to knock over three potion racks with a single anxious twitch. The local wizards now budget for “Kagana-related damages.” Despite the constant embarrassment and frantic use of their panda fan to cool their flushed face, no intruder has ever reached the crystal. Most are too busy dodging a toppling stack of ancient scrolls to mount a proper attack.
