Chimper #3719
Nobuha was not always so difficult to read. They first arrived in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria with an easy smile, believing their code was a universal language. They offered their sword to a local scientist, sworn to guard an experiment meant to stabilize the spinning monoliths above a fortress. But in Armaria, an oath is just data. When raiders came, the scientist triggered a magical backlash, sacrificing the outer labsโand Nobuha's postโto save the core research. Nobuha survived; their optimism did not. The code had no answer for that cold, logical betrayal. These days, the samurai cut remains sharp, but their eyes are flat and unamused. The grin is still there, a ghost of who they once were, plastered on a face that no longer believes in anything but the weight of their own steel.
