The title began as a fond joke among the residents of The Heart of the Forest after their fifth attempt at gardening produced a patch of glittering permafrost where carrots were supposed to be. They wear the pink daisies in their fur as a cheerful reminder from a friend to “just try growing something that’s already dead.” Few who see the smug smirk realize the power humming beneath—a force some scholars quietly compare to the might of Kami. Hisuka uses this transcendent energy mostly to chill their afternoon tea or to halt bandit raids by turning the forest floor into a comically slippery ice rink. Their Frost Katana is less a weapon and more a very effective, if oversized, ice pick.
