Chimper #3888
The fishers down by the boats in Waterfall City will tell you Mutsumi earned that scar wrestling a river leviathan into submission. The truth, however, involves a much smaller creature and far less dignity. They were trying to impress Toto, attempting to nab a prized silver-fin from the pools near the plaza's great fish statue. With a dramatic lunge, Mutsumi cornered their prize, only to land squarely on the home of a notoriously grumpy bullfrog. The ensuing chaos involved a panicked hop, a very slippery rock, and an unfortunate meeting between Mutsumi's forehead and the statue's stone tail. They came up with a bleeding gash and no fish, but the sound of Toto's roaring laughter echoing across the plaza was worth more than any feast.
