Chimper #3940
Ea remembered the taste of salt on the wind and the glint of sun on broken coral. They were once a child of the tides, a guardian of a reef so treacherous its own shards could wound the sea. The elders of that place had one law: the ocean gives, and the ocean takes, but we offer nothing back. When a battered fishing boat from a faraway land smashed against the rocks, Ea defied them. Driven by a compassion the sea-carved chimps called foolishness, they guided the sole survivor through secret channels to safety. For this act, they were named an outcast and exiled, forced to walk inland until the memory of the ocean was just a whisper. They are a strange legend in The Great Panda City now, a sea-worn soul whose ragged clothes smell of a world away. They wear their heart openly, a symbol of the choice that cost them everything, and yet defines them completely.
