Yuyako

The Thawed Wanderer of the Highlands is what some call them now, though few know the story behind the name. Yuyako was studying how sunset light splintered through the monoliths of The Crystal Highlands of Armaria when the ancient cold found them. Awakened and disoriented, Shimo saw a moving thing and made it still, freezing Yuyako mid-gesture. Another magician, Kori, discovered them not as a victim, but as an ideal form, poring over the flawless frost for days. When Yuyako finally broke free, the memory of that suffocating stillness became their driving force. Their Kabuki facepaint is a weapon against that memory. Every gesture is a performance, a defiant dance against the silent perfection Kori still chases, making them eternal rivals in motion and stasis.
