Chimper #3980
The only merchant in the ash-choked plains who offers a smile with every transaction. Shouya awoke in The Underworld with two things: a finely carved cane they didn't recognize and an aching void where memories should be. Hearing tales of the amnesiac Kiti made them feel less alone but offered no answers. So they chose one. The first thing they traded for was not a weapon or a map, but a flask of sweet strawberry milk from a terrified Overworlder. It was a defiant act of choosing pleasure in a world of pain. Since then, their business has flourished. They trade scavenged relics and whispered rumors, their gleeful demeanor a shield more effective than any armor. The cane reminds them of what was lost. The milk reminds them of what they built in its place.
