Kayone

If a traveler in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria were to ask about the masked warrior Kayone, they would hear a dozen conflicting tales of their solemn purpose. The truth began with a dare from their sibling, Shoua: wear the Kitsune mask for an entire week without taking it off. On the third day, while looking for a quiet place to eat lunch, Kayone stumbled into a conclave of Rock Wizards. Mistaking the mask for the fabled visage of the 'Silent Arbiter,' the wizards immediately began asking for judgment on complex magical disputes. Too polite to interrupt, Kayone has been arbitrating ever since. The combat pole is used mostly for pointing at contested monoliths, and their uneasy squint is just them trying to guess who is lying about a stolen spell.
