Kiara

Kiara is the most well-intentioned outcast in The Great Panda City. After reading a smuggled scroll about the legendary Takeo, they decided their life of quiet study was a betrayal of the common chimper. They ceremoniously tore their jumper, packed a bag with three different kinds of snacks, and declared themself an exile. Their rebellion, however, has been less than fearsome. They once tried to deliver a fiery speech in the plaza but were so startled by a gust of wind that they dropped all their notes. The Panda Council isn't even sure what Kiara is protesting; their official list of grievances includes “unpredictable cherry blossom petals” and “bamboo that grows too quietly.”
