Rubina

Other couriers will tell you that Rubina is the fastest messenger in The Dragon Wastelands, but never the first to arrive. They say this because, between deliveries, Rubina can always be found by some murky, rain-fed stream, their high-tech suit gleaming against the scorched rock. They sit motionless, fishing rod in hand, just as their master, Nakasaburou, taught them. 'Speed gets the message there,' Nakasaburou used to say, 'but patience gets the messenger back.' Every cast of the line is a lesson in waiting—a skill more valuable than any booster pack when navigating the illusions of the valleys. The sushi on their head is a promise, only eaten once the delivery is complete. The visor shows the quickest path, but the tug on the line tells them where they truly are.
