Chimper #4561
How does one disappoint a mentor in four dimensions at once? Kifuyu managed it on a cold morning by the training grounds' frozen lake. Eager to show Takeo their progress, they donned their new 4D glasses, determined to slice a single falling snowflake with their Sakura Katana. The lenses showed them the flake, its past, and a thousand futures where it landed perfectly. Their Evolved power, still new and wild, surged in response. Kifuyu swung. They missed the snowflake, but the blade's energy flash-thawed a huge patch of the lake, instantly refreezing it into a perfect, jagged sculpture of the dojo's prized koi, looking utterly horrified. Takeo didn't speak for a full minute. The tragedy wasn't the ruined view, but the dawning realization on Kifuyu's face that they had peaked, comedically.
