Mikumi slid across the polished bamboo floor of The Great Panda City, attempting a silent roll that ended with a noisy collision into a stack of ceremonial tea trays. Their mission was simple: retrieve the Whispering Scroll. Their methods, however, were not. A pinch of diamond dust, meant as a subtle shimmer to distract a guard, instead turned the entire koi pond into a swirling vortex of light that could be seen from the city gates. In the ensuing chaos, with pandas shielding their eyes from the glare reminiscent of Daiyamondo's artifact, Mikumi fumbled for their emergency snack. The strawberry milk carton slipped, ricocheting off a stone lantern and soaking the real thief. The Panda Council later praised their brilliant, multi-layered diversion. Mikumi just nodded, wondering if anyone saw where the last rice cake went.
