Chimper #4697
One borrowed wolf cloak, two layers of black war paint, a dozen rehearsed reasons to avoid eye contact. Koyuna walks the bamboo-lined streets of The Great Panda City as an outcast, their arctic fur making the dark streaks on their face a stark declaration. They hunt with Mesuokami's legion, a silent and effective partner against the demonic forces that creep from the shadows. The other wolves see the paint and assume a history of battle-honed courage. They don't see the trembling paws that apply it each night. They don't know it's a mask, hiding the face of someone who wasn't a warrior when it mattered most. Mesuokami gave them a place, a purpose. But the uneasy gaze and humble posture betray a fear greater than any demon: the fear of being seen for who they truly were.
