Kyouna

Kyouna is a creature of unshakable habit. Every victory, no matter how small, must be celebrated with cake. This philosophy causes considerable confusion in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria, where triumphs usually involve complex spell matrices, not finding a particularly shiny rock. While the great mages pore over ancient texts, Kyouna stands guard, their face an unreadable mask behind dark shades. When a fellow guard successfully ties their shoe, Kyouna will nod once, gravely, and produce a fork from their haori. They say the slice of cake on Kyouna's head is a permanent fixture, the result of a misfired celebratory enchantment. The wizards have tried to remove it, but Kyouna insists it's a tactical advantage. After all, no one expects a full-frontal assault from a warrior who always smells faintly of frosting.
