Hirame

Hirame was only trying to buy a fish. But a spirited haggle in the lower district, beneath the roar of the great falls, was mistaken for a challenge by a young guard with more ambition than sense. Seeing the scarred elder armour, the guard drew their spear. Hirame, trying to diffuse the situation with a weary, charming wave, accidentally knocked over a crate of eels. Panic erupted. Chimps scrambled up the rock stairs, yelling that a duel had broken out by the great fish statue. Someone swore they saw Hirame use a move learned fighting alongside Bjorn. The standoff ended when the fishmonger, terrified, threw the prize carp at Hirame’s head and fled. Hirame caught it, bowed to the stunned guard, and went home with a free lunch.
