Chimper #4906
Is a fearsome reputation worth anything if it just gets you free snacks? Kyuuzaburou arrived in The Great Panda City determined to be an enigma, a shadow slipping through the bamboo-lined streets. They had the lone wolf gear, a perfected glower, and a talent for staring wistfully at cherry blossoms. It lasted a week. Then, a vendor pressed a warm dango into their hand, whispering that they looked like they needed it. Kyuuzaburou, too startled to refuse, ate it. That was their mistake. Now, their daily brood by the river is interrupted by a parade of well-meaning citizens offering treats. They are the city's grumpy, stoic pet project. That unamused expression is permanent, but the grin betrays them every time a new flavor of mochi appears.
