Chimper #510
Shuramu pointed their carved cane at a stack of bamboo steamers with an intensity usually reserved for identifying enemy positions. They had plans, once. Grand plans involving mountain cartography and discovering new species of moss. But one disastrously confident bet with a Panda Council member over who could eat the most dumplings ended all that. Now, they run the most orderly, unexciting souvenir stall in The Great Panda City. They treat stocking shelves like a tactical mission and use their fox beanieโs supposed cunning to spot customers trying to haggle from three streets away. The side smile is their permanent truce with a life less adventurous, a quiet admission that, while this wasn't the dream, the dumplings were incredibly good.
