Chimper #5190
Without fail, Yokiko the Sky-Gazer is at the top of Waterfall City at dawn, eyes on the sky. The fishers working the boats below see a daydreamer, a perpetual trainee whose thoughts are as soft as their strange pufferfish helm. The city guard sees a liability, someone whose headgear comically inflates at the first sign of trouble, a clear mark of fear. But Hiro charges into battle precisely because Yokiko is with them. They know that sky-gazing isnโt idleness; it's intel. Yokiko reads enemy movements in the wind and foresees ambushes in the flight of birds. That puffing helm has deflected blades meant for others. They are not training to fight, but learning to aim their insight like a spear.
