Chimper #5294
How does one chart a new course when their most trusted compass breaks in their hands? Anzanshi once mapped entire continents, their calculations flawless and their confidence absolute. They shared these maps with Uragirimono, planning expeditions that would be sung about for ages. But the betrayal left Anzanshi adrift, not in the wild, but within themself. Their trust in their own judgment was shattered. They eventually found their way to the city built upon the great cascade, a place of constant movement and sound. They stopped exploring distant lands and started learning the river's moods, trading stories with the fishing frogs at the bottom of the stone stairs. The weathered bandana is a relic of a past life, but the small, genuine smile they get from helping a local fix their boat is a treasure no map could ever lead to.
