Shuugo

The wizards of The Crystal Highlands of Armaria will tell you that Shuugo is just a quiet traveler with an insatiable appetite. They see a shy chimper slurping noodles under the spinning monoliths, blushing if anyone meets their gaze. But one apprentice saw something different during a particularly beautiful sunset. Shuugo, believing they were alone, drew their katana. For a heartbeat, they executed the Silent Waterfall flourish, a sword form so complex it was thought only Katana could perform it without a single wasted motion. When the apprentice gasped, Shuugo froze, sheathed the blade in a flash, and sat down abruptly, pulling a bowl of ramen from their pack. They wouldn't look up, their face crimson, focusing entirely on their meal as if it were the most important thing in the world.
