Chimper #5456
The Most Determined Angler in the Canyons, some call them. It all began when their sibling, Youhei, made an offhand joke about phantom koi that swim through the thickest fog between the jagged peaks. Debora, whose sense of irony was famously nonexistent, took this as a sacred truth. They packed their sturdiest fishing rod and marched into the highlands of howling winds and constant drizzle, leaving a horrified Youhei behind. For years, they have cast their line into misty ravines and shallow, swampy puddles formed between the skeletal remains of colossal beasts. Their survival skills are now legendary, but their catch log remains painfully empty. Every time Youhei visits, intending to confess, Debora just scowls and accuses them of scaring the fish away.
