Chimper #5526
The cool mist from the falls clings to everything in Waterfall City, but Shunpuu only pays attention to the rhythmic *tap-tap-scrape* of their carved cane on the slick stone stairs. Most who see them, with the single fallen leaf in their hair and the far-off look in their eyes, assume they are a quiet pilgrim lost in deep thought. They let people think it for a moment, a little smile playing on their lips. Then, with a sudden flick of the wrist, their cane sends a loose pebble skipping across a puddle, startling a grumpy frog-merchant who canโt help but crack a smile. Shunpuuโs journey has no map, only a simple rule they follow with joyful dedication: leave every place a little lighter than they found it.
