Chimper #862
Jinsaburou keeps a ledger so precise it could track the fall of every cherry blossom petal in The Great Panda City, yet they lose their azure blue cap at least twice a day. Their tiny stall offers the finest imported inks, a business they pursue with fierce determination despite the freezing winds. Each day starts the same: specs polished, tie straightened, a fresh choc stick ready for contemplation. Then, the inevitable, frantic search begins. The other merchants place bets on where the cap will turn up. Last week, Panda silently retrieved it from the rafters of the noodle shop across the way. Jinsaburou offered a discount on bamboo parchment as thanks, which Panda accepted with a quiet nod before melting back into the groves. For all their practicality, Jinsaburou has never quite adapted to the cap’s wanderlust.
