Sadanori

Sadanori was a creature of silence and shadow. They kept to the wilder, greener edges of the forest, guiding lost spirits with their lanterns and melting away before dawn. This changed when they found a large, boisterous traveler hopelessly tangled in thornvines, bellowing songs to scare away what the traveler called "spooky forest goblins." The traveler was on a quest for a rare berry and was terrified of the dark. Moved by a rare flicker of pity, Sadanori agreed to guide them. Now, they are an odd pair. Sadanori walks ahead, lanterns swaying, chewing thoughtfully on a choc stick, while their companion follows, providing a running commentary on every rustle in the amber leaves.
