Chimper #893
In Waterfall City, the constant roar of the falls is supposed to drown out conflict, leaving artisans to their peaceful work. Tsuyoshi was one of them, their hands known only for carving intricate patterns into bamboo fishing rods and wind chimes. Their life was as smooth and harmonious as the polished wood they worked. That peace ended the day a mercenary group cornered Riifu on the lower stairwells during a trade dispute. With no weapon, Tsuyoshi grabbed a fresh batch of bamboo and fought with the desperate, focused precision of a creator forced to destroy. They saved Riifu, but the artist within them fractured. A worn battle jacket is now layered over their old robes. The beret remains a nod to the past, but the intense gaze proves they live for the present.
