Chimper #1013
Rabeya keeps a very serious training log. Its pages are filled with detailed notes on the 'aerodynamic properties of the common sky-worm' and 'lure techniques for snagging rogue wind currents.' They insist their fishing rod is a sacred martial implement, a way to honor the memory of the wind god Kaze by tangling with their domain directly. This theory has not been proven. What has been proven is that Rabeya's casting technique has accidentally disarmed a jewel thief, snagged a runaway cloud-marmot by its prized fluffy tail, and once pulled a very surprised dragon out of a nosedive. The winged chimps of The Fluorescent Isles watch from a safe distance, visors pulled low to hide their laughter. But when trouble is on the breeze, they are always glad Rabeya brought their fishing rod.
