Hanzaburou slammed their empty ramen bowl onto the counter and declared it the second-best in The Great Panda City. The shop owner will tell you this is their weekly ritual, always followed by a detailed, broth-splattered critique and a generous tip. They’ll point to the fishing rod Hanzaburou carries and swear they catch rarer river trout than any full-time angler. But ask a Panda Council guard what they see. They won’t mention the ramen hat. They’ll describe the day a dozen Soul Chasers ambushed a patrol, and how Hanzaburou used that same fishing rod to hook a zealot’s ankle and send them tumbling off the mountain pass. Panda says Hanzaburou's strength is that they never forget what they’re fighting for: a city where everyone can enjoy a hot meal in peace.
