Chimper #1026
Who brings a marshmallow stick to a sacred vigil? "Youichi does," a fisher at the docks of Waterfall City will tell you, pointing with their gutting knife. They claim Youichi arrived to stand watch over Tamago, the legendary primordial egg, vowing to protect it with their life and their trusty katana. An hour later, they were distracted by a riverside snack vendor. Two hours later, they had somehow traded their helmet for a very stubborn salmon that refuses to leave their head. The locals swear the katana is only for slicing fruit and that the marshmallow stick has seen far more diplomatic action. But everyone agrees on one thing: whenever Youichi starts telling stories by the fire, Tamago's shell seems to rock just a little, as if itโs giggling along.
