Chimper #1088
Hachigorou is a terrible navigator. For an explorer, this presents a daily challenge, even within the familiar bamboo-lined avenues of The Great Panda City. Every morning they set out with their guiding lanterns, not for darkness, but for the certainty of getting lost before lunchtime. Their meticulously drawn maps are works of art, yet they inevitably lead to the wrong tea house or a back alley they swear wasn't there yesterday. The locals are used to it; members of the Panda Council simply smile and point them back toward the main river path. Their shocked expression and dazed eyes are not from battle, but the constant surprise of finding themself somewhere new. They always arrive, eventually, with a story about a street they've never seen before.
